My husband and I, along with two friends, have made it our mission to go to Tampa from Weeki Wachee where we live every Friday night and try a different restaurant.

Many of you may not know we have a Soho District in Tampa.  It is quite a happening spot with the bars and all types of great restaurants.  Berns Steakhouse which is fantastic (our friends don't particularly like it).   We choose this week to go to Bellas Italian Cafe which received great reviews on Tampa's 340 (Brighthouse's review of restaurants there) and we have to say, we were disappointed.  We could have received better Italian food right here in Hernando County.  Three of them choose the chicken parm which was not even breaded and I choose a chicken with artichokes - not sure where the artichokes were.  However, the dessert was good.  I had an apple crisp that was excellent.
